March 10, 2022 WHY SHOULD I USE A 3PL FOR AMAZON FBA PREP SERVICES? It is no secret that Amazon is an eCommerce shipping powerhouse. Their streamlined processes and requirements to maintain this status require customer preparation, known as FBA. If these requirements are not met, the vendor may be charged for non-compliance, blocked from further shipments, or have products returned or disposed of. Amazon provides vendors with a Reference Guide for prepping products. Outsourcing these fulfillment services to a 3PL minimizes your risk and maximizes your return by giving you more time to focus your efforts on sales and marketing.Belts provides FBA Prep services, including one of the largest Amazon resellers of footware and apparrel in the US. We also handle the shipping labels, FNSKU labels, and repacking mixed SKU products. Our Automated Dimensioning System ensures weights and dimensions are compliant. April 6, 2022 OMNI-CHANNEL TECHNOLOGY=THE POWER OF MULTIPLE SALES. Simplify order fulfillment by integrating multiple sales channels into our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Belts provides 24/7 visability into your daily transaction history and inventory in real trime. D2C, B2B and drop shipping channels are seamlessly integrated into our central order and inventory management platform. Sales channel stategies that effectively match supply with the location of demand are a requirement today. Traditional eCommerce marketplaces include Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Google or eBay. Modern marketplaces must include content driven sites such as Facebook, Tik Toc, Pinterest and Instagram. A siloesd approach with one sale channel can limit your approach, rather than effectively blending wholesale, retail, traditional and modern marketplaces into one Omni-Channel. April 4, 2022 THE DOs AND DON’Ts OF FBA LABELING. If Amazon has to guess which label is the correct one, or it is unscannable, your product is headed to the problem solving area. Here are some tips for FBA labeling: 1) DON’T apply the FBA label over the box seam, because when the box is cut open, the label becomes damaged, unreadable and unverifiable. (2) DO apply the FBA label 1.25 inches from the edge of the box. (3) DON’T apply the FBA label over a corner as Amazon’s scanners need a flat shipping area. (4) DON’T cover up the FBA label with clear tape as it may inhibit Amazon’s scanners. (5) Do remember that the Amazon FBA labels act as your products’ passport for entry into their warehouses, and make your label 3.5 by 4 inches in size, and print them on a laser or thermal printer (Ink jet printers are not recommended).
